"Comprehensive tour of Rosh Hanikra, Haifa and Caesarea. The guide gave a flawless full day tour that was the highlight of my trip to Israel." (Bruce Michael, NY)
Come to an incredible tour to the northern coast-line of Israel.
Our first stop is in Caesarea, where King Herod built a city including a port from scratch in the roman days about 2000 thousands year ago Amphitheater, hippodrome and ruins of palaces, temples and bathhouses.
After that, we’ll drive north along the coast to Haifa, located on the slopes of Mt. Carmel. We will visit the Baha’i Gardens and learn about the Baha’i faith.
Continuing our way up north, the tour visits the Crusader city of Acco (Acre). We will see magnificent Crusader fortress built in the 12th century, Ottoman structures and here fascinating stories about the former prison which was in use by the Turks and the British.
If time allows or alternatively, we’ll drive all the way to Israel’s border with Lebanon to the caves of Rosh HaNikra. There we can enter the special caves that was formed by the waves of the sea and see the old tunnel which was chiseled in the mountain (later would be at tunnel for a British train) in the ancient times for a way in to the country.
