Before we explore Israel together, you should know who I am!
I’m Yaron, born and raised in Jerusalem (although I spent a 10 years living in Tel Aviv and Galilee).
I am 34 years old, and I have been spreading my passion for Israel as a guide for the last ten years. When I’m not traveling around the country, I share a home with my wife and two daughters.
Before I established My Israel Guide , I got a degree in Mass Communications and Public Relations, and worked for a while as a newspaper editor.
At some point though, I realized I wanted to do something to satisfy my soul.
Since I can remember, I’ve been a history and geography freak. I could always be found with a map in my hands.
Travel around the whole world–you won’t find anywhere else like Israel. This is the place that everything happened–your ancestors probably started here! In prehistoric times, when Homo sapiens were based in Africa and wanted to emigrate, they had to travel through the land of Israel, which served as a bridge between Asia, Africa, and Europe. Eventually, many, many empires settled here to take advantage of the strategic location, infusing their cultures into the region.
I love Israel with all of my heart. I have a great appreciation for people who support Israel, and I was searching for a way to contribute personally.
As a concierge at the Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem for five years, I learned what it means to be able to tailor the precious time of the visitors in Israel and to help them truly encounter the huge variety of experiences that this place can offer.
So, add together a thirst for the history, an awe of the land, a love for the people, and a dream to share it with others, and you get a guide who loves what he does!
Some private guides can act like a record, just pressing the “play” button in the morning–I want to bring life to your experiences. I want to energize your soul like you never imagined it could feel. I want to open your eyes and leave you with an enlightenment and a real understanding of Israel and the Middle East.
Whether our trip together is about religion, politics, or just to have a great time around this country, I always bring a personal touch and connection. No matter where we are, I can adapt to anything. All of the little details make for the most special and memorable experiences, so I pride myself on being flexible, and for us to create a personalized trip that speaks to you perfectly.
I don’t work in an office–Israel is my office, and what is it they say? If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.
Or leave your details and we will take it from there
